China: CIMC Raffles Orders Super M2 Jack-Up Rig Package from TSC

TSC Group Holdings Limited secures the second Super M2 jack-up rig (300 ft) package from CIMC Raffles Shipyard, following closely after the first package that was signed in October this year. Combining with the previous order, the two jack-up rig orders worth a total of approximately US$68 million.

TSC Group Holdings Limited secures the second Super M2 jack-up rig (300 ft) package from CIMC Raffles Shipyard, following closely after the first package that was signed in October this year. Combining with the previous order, the two jack-up rig orders worth a total of approximately US$68 million. Both rigs are expected to be delivered by 4th quarter of 2013.

The Friede and Goldman (F&G) designed Super M2 is a self-elevating drilling unit operating in water depths of up to 300 feet, with a drilling depth of 30,000 feet. TSC Group will design, manufacture, install and commission the integrated drilling rig package for the rig which will be delivered to CIMC Raffles Shipyard in Yantai, Shandong Province.
