Vos Prodect Innovations B.V. has been awarded an order by Norddeutsche Seekabelwerke GmbH (NSW), for the supply of Cable Hang-off Systems for an offshore wind farm project in the North Sea.

Vos Prodect has carried an intensive development program to launch the best system to meet the technical & commercial requirements of NSW for the subject project.

The Cable Hang-off System is designed to provide flexibility on the cable operations with its unique features.

Norddeutsche Seekabelwerke GmbH

(NSW) is a subsidiary of General Cable since 2007, and for more than 111 years one of the world’s leading vendors of submarine telecommunication cables. After being founded back in 1899, NSW was already laying its first submarine telecommunication cable in 1904, approximately 7,993 kilometers in length. With more than 500 staff, NSW advises and supports its customers from all over the world.

Wout De Graaf, Managing Director Vos Prodect:

“We are proud of having the development of the product successfully completed and being awarded a contract for the supply of Cable Hang-off Systems. We would like to thank to Norddeutsche Seekabelwerke GmbH for their constructive technical support during development phase and their confidence in our system. The first assignment for the delivery of Cable Hang-off Systems is a milestone for Vos Prodect. In addition to our cable protection systems, as an innovative company, we are looking into different areas where we can use our know-how and engineering capabilities.”
