Recently, the Marketing Director of Yuexin Shipbuilding, Mr. Eric Lim ,signed a contract of two 77 m DP2 Offshore Support/ Oil Recovery Vessels.
The vessel measures 77.8m in length with a molded breadth of 17.6m, a molded depth of 7.8m and the maximum draft is 6.4m. With 3600T dead weight, the vessel can carry 1100m3 fuel oil, 600m3 fresh water, 1100m3 drill water, 700m3 mud, 280m3 dry bulk and 60 men. With 750 m2 deck area, the vessel is powered by twin 2000kw main engines, delivering a speed on sea trials of 13.5 knots.
Yuexin Shipbuilding is an enterprise of Class Three National Qualifications, Class A Design Qualification of the shipbuilding business in Guangdong Province. So far, Yuexin has delivered more than 60 vessels since it was founded. The company specializes in building series offshore work vessels from 4000 to 16000 horsepower, including DP2 Support/Maintenance Vessel, Multi-purpose Utility Vessels,Anchor Handling Tug/Supply Vessel,ASD Tug and etc.
