Centrica plc announced that Dame Helen Alexander, a Non-Executive Director of Centrica and Chairman of Centrica’s Remuneration Committee, will step down from the Board of Centrica with effect from 31 December 2011.
Dame Helen joined the Board in January 2003. Lesley Knox will replace Dame Helen as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee with effect from 1 January 2012.
Chairman Sir Roger Carr said, “ The last nine years have been a time of great challenge and change for Centrica. I would like to thank Helen for the invaluable advice and guidance she has provided during this time .”
