Australia: Maritime Systems Division Invites Tenders for Underwater Sonar Systems

In order to fulfill underwater navigation capability requirements for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) the MCDSPO is procuring 34 Underwater Navigation and Integrated Sonar (UNIS) systems, which will allow the RAN to carry out mission planning, accurate navigation and automated hydrographical data re

In order to fulfill underwater navigation capability requirements for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) the MCDSPO is procuring 34 Underwater Navigation and Integrated Sonar (UNIS) systems, which will allow the RAN to carry out mission planning, accurate navigation and automated hydrographical data recording with increased situational awareness, area coverage rate, diver safety and assist in area inspections, mapping and recording of objects.

Project period is 6 to 18 months from date of contract award.

Deadline day for this tender is 12.12.2011.
