Every year, Universum surveys young professionals and asks them questions about their career expectations, how they perceive companies as employers and what they associate to those employers. As in previous years, Aker Solutions is rated highly by both by engineers and business professionals, and amongst top ten by young IT professionals.
The results of the Norwegian Professional Survey reveal how working professionals perceive organizations as employers in Norway. Universum asks professionals to select the employers they would consider working for and then choose the employers they would most like to work for, that is the companies that they perceive as being “Ideal”. The rankings are presented according to professionals’ background field of study.
In the 2011 survey, Aker Solutions is rated the second most ideal employer amongst engineers, which is the same result as last year. Young business professionals rate Aker Solutions as the third most ideal place to work, which is one place up from last year’s survey, while young IT professionals rate Aker Solutions as the seventh ideal employer, which is two steps up from last year.
“Once again, we are very pleased to be voted as the second most popular employer among professional engineers in Norway. It is also nice to see that we are becoming more attractive to business and IT as well. This is great recognition for everyone working in Aker Solutions.
