Forum Energy Technologies Inc., (Forum) announces the recent sale of a Sub-Atlantic™ Mojave observation ROV to GeoTeam S.r.l. in Rome, Italy. GeoTeam is a solutions based marine survey, construction support and geotechnical contractor with operations in the United Kingdom, Italy and the United Arab Emirates.

The Sub-Atlantic™ Mojave is expected to be used in support of a contract for a primary oil & gas firm in the Adriatic Sea using Flooded Member Detection (FMD), Close Proximity (CP) and other Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) equipment.

Mick Jones, Senior Vice President of Forum Subsea Technologies commented, “ We are extremely pleased to be working with GeoTeam on this project and are confident we will continue to have a long standing and mutually beneficial relationship. Forum Subsea Technologies’ Sub-Atlantic is well positioned to support our customers in Italy through our dedicated team of offshore support engineers, DPS Rental, DPS Personnel and our regional partner, Mauro Stasi of iROV.”

Managing Director of GeoTeam, Alessandro Piacitelli stated, “We chose the Sub-Atlantic Mojave because of their innovative approach to vehicle design, as well as the positive experience with the Comanche, Light Work Class ROV.”

Forum Subsea Technologies’ product offering ranges from electric observation ROVs to large hydraulic work-class vehicles used for inspection, survey and deep-water construction, as well as other remote intervention technologies and services.
