The new acquisition and postprocessing software for EA sounders is available. The sidescan sonar mosaicing software has been developed extensively.
The software is available in three versions:
* Basic
* Professional
* Online
* Additional-Tool: Spot
The main tasks of EA SSM are:
* Planning and performing a survey.
* Processing survey data.
* Depth and height processing of EA raw data
* Processing XYZ data for hydrographic use and mapping
* Georeferencing of EA Sidescan Sonar data.
* Combining the results of several areas to one mosaic.
* Visualization of EA Sidescan Sonar data.
* Merging of bathymetric data with geo referenced sidescan data.
* EA SSM shows sidescan data in local coordinates produced on hand of high resolution grids.
* The results of EA SSM are geo referenced BMP/TIF files which can be plotted into maps and exported to other GIS software packages.
