Neptune Marine Services Limited announces that Jeff Dowling has been appointed to the Board of Directors as a Non- Executive Director, effective immediately. Mr Dowling was formerly managing partner at Ernst & Young’s Perth office, where he also held a number of senior leadership roles with a particular focus on the mining and oil & gas sectors.

Neptune Chairman Ross Kennan said he was delighted with Mr Dowling’s appointment and extended his warm welcome on behalf of the Board.

“The appointment of Jeff adds further strength to the Board and is part of our ongoing Board renewal initiative,” Mr Kennan said. “He has more than 35 years of experience in the professional services industry and the Board looks forward to working with Jeff and drawing on his wealth of knowledge as we continue to grow our profitable businesses.”

Mr Dowling was most recently managing partner of the Ernst & Young Western Region, a position he held for five years. He also held numerous leadership roles during his 36 year career at Ernst & Young, where he developed strong expertise in audit, risk management and finance. Mr Dowling is currently a Non-Executive Director at Atlas Iron, and is also a director at the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research and the West Australian Symphony Orchestra.
