Irkutsk hosted yesterday a working meeting between Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Dmitry Mezentsev, Governor of the Irkutsk Oblast.
The parties discussed the issues surrounding creation of the Irkutsk gas production center as part of the Eastern Gas Program.
In this regard special attention was given to the Company’s resource base development in the Irkutsk Oblast, the Kovyktinskoye and the Chikanskoye fields development and gas processing projects. In addition, a focus was placed on the further gasification of the region.
