Phoenix Ltd., the company investing in the Bronka project started construction of pile foundation of Berth Number 5 as it was scheduled. The following expansion phase of the transshipment hub based near Big Port St. Petersburg commenced on December 7.
The company plans to complete the construction of Berth Number 5 and Berth Number 6 pile foundation by June 2012.
Dredging and reclamation undertakings are planned to be completed at the end of 2014. The approach channel depth will be 14,4 m, the width will be 185 meters, the U-turn diameter – 420 m.
Phoenix Ltd. Has already invested approximately RUB 3.2 billion in the marine multifunctional complex Bronka.
Private investment in the project may reach nearly RUB 43.7 billion, while the federal government intends to invest around RUB 15.2 billion in the project.
