Russian Gazprom has decided to end its South Stream pipeline in Italy rather than Austria, Reuters reported, citing unnamed company source.
The South Stream route will run from the Black Sea to Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary and Slovenia and then to Italy.
The South Stream project is scheduled to become operational in,2015, pumping 15.6 Bcm of gas annually, and to shift to a full capacity of 63 billion cubic metres in 2018.
