SOCAR delegation participated in the 20th World Petroleum Congress and Exhibition in Doha, the world’s largest and most reputable oil and gas industry event.
SOCAR set up a special stand at the exhibition. Visitors familiarized themselves with exhibits reflecting SOCAR`s achievements.

The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the World Petroleum Council Randy Gossen, Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Qatar’s Minister of Energy and Industry Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada, and other officials.
SOCAR Deputy Vice-president of Oil-gas Production and Transportation Mammadagha Aliyev, deputy head of Executive Office Rufat Zamanov, head of Science and Engineering Division Nazim Valiyev, head of Technological Studies Division Beykas Khidirov, and engineer of Science and Engineering Division Emin Alakbarov represented Azerbaijan in the exhibition.
