Maine ocean research laboratory is to receive more than $600,000 federal government grant.
National Science Foundation has provided the Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences in Boothbay Harbor with $603,631 grant to carry out natural oceanography research.
The study will be conducted in the area of iron oxidizing germs.
