Unique Maritime Group, one of the world’s leading integrated turnkey subsea and offshore solution providers, sets “Strength in Depth” as its new regional and international vision during a media round table, held at UMG’s head offices in Hamriyah Free Zone in Sharjah.

The international presence of the group combined with its global expertise, gives UMG the edge to provide tailor made and innovative solutions for its customers. The nature of UMG’s engineers, their creative capabilities, along with the financial stability of the group, allow the company to fulfil its clients’ requirements, while having the willingness to take risks in challenging projects and provide bespoke solutions based on their requirements.

The group’s head office has recently significantly expanded its building infrastructure to enable current and future operating requirement, representing a total investment of around AED4.5 million. The greater work area consisting of office space, warehouses and shaded work zones, facilitates larger volumes of work with a clear segregation and control over various activities, resulting in improved quality of the products assembled by UMG.

“It takes a unique company to provide in-depth support, offshore and onshore, above water and below water. Every facet and aspect of UMG is a testament to excellence, all stemming from our philosophy of “Strength in Depth”, strength in performance and depth of capabilities across a full range of services. We are proud that the group continues to expand its services, capabilities and geographical infrastructure to better support the success of our customers”, said Ian Huggins, General Manager of Unique Systems FZE.

UMG provides its international customer base with one of the largest range of rental pool in the world, to ensure that state-of-the-art solutions are readily available to clients to support varied applications like geophysical, hydrographical, surveys, surface and underwater positioning and subsea inspection.

“UMG has built up a solid reputation for quality, innovation, service and speed of customer service, and we are continuously striving to improve product and services enhancement via organic growth and strategic acquisitions, and physical expansion,” continued Huggins .

Commenting on the re-launch, Harry Gandhi, CEO of Unique maritime Group said, “We will develop Unique Maritime Group to be the most successful subsea and offshore company recognized worldwide for technical excellence, innovation and quality service”.

The Group’s operations are spread across 7 global regions in the Middle East, USA, UK, South Africa, India, Russia and Singapore, all well positioned to manage all project requirements and a fast growing international customer base.
