On 8 December 2011, the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) conducted and audit of BG Norge’s (BG) management of the Knarr field development.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to inspect the company’s compliance with health, safety and environment requirements in connection with the Knarr field development, including compliance with the supervisory duty in relation to suppliers/contractors.
Results
No nonconformities were identified.
Some items with potential for improvement were identified relating to:
• Inspection and test plan for the FPSO hull
• Project documentation management
• Follow-up of main supplier
