Port of Wisbech has welcomed tugs currently working on a cable laying project for a new offshore wind farm, reports Cambstimes.
They are coming every few days to pick up new crew and food supplies. It means a great boost for the port economy and gives the opportunity for the town development in general.
Councilor responsible for the port and marine services highlights that captains are satisfied with the service and find it very complete compared to bigger ports such as Humber Port.
