Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, one of the world’s leading shipbuilders, has secured USD 2 billion order for the construction of one FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) vessel, Reuters reports.
The order comes from Japan’s top oil and gas explorer Inpex Corporation.
The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for April 2016. This FPSO will operate in the Browse Basin as a part of Inpex’s Ichthys project offshore Western Australia.
