E.ON will host public consultations in Albourne seeking views on their proposed wind farm located 13km off the Sussex coast.
Wind turbines would be installed in water depths of 19 to 50 meters, covering area of 167 square kilometers.
Construction and operation of this wind farm is 100% owned by E.ON Climate & Renewables.
E.ON is considering a range of 100 to 195 wind turbines with the generating capacity of between 3MW and 7MW for the Rampion offshore wind farm, which would have total installed electrical capacity of up to 700 megawatts (MW)
The developer is going to hold 12 public exhibitions at coastal venues and along the proposed underground cable route. Visitors will be able to view the plans and images, speak to the project team and complete a consultation questionnaire.
