Handal Offshore Services Sdn Bhd on Wednesday received a Letter of Award from PT Guna Tesuma Internasional for the supply of three Offshore Pedestal Cranes in Indonesia. The cranes will be supplied to Kodeco-Pertamina.

The Malaysia’s offshore pedestal mounted cranes specialist is expected to deliver the cranes by August 25, 2012. The contract value is estimated at USD945,000.00.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Handal said that the Purchase Order was expected to contribute positively to increased earnings and net assets per share of the HRB Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2012.

According to Bernama, the cranes will be deployed in the West Madura block, offshore Indonesia. The block is owned by Pertamina, and Korea’s KODECO. Pertamina is the operator of the area with 80% stake, while KODECO owns 20%.
