Italy: TERNA SpA Announces Tender for Subsea Cable Services

TERNA SpA has announced the invitation for tenders for subsea cable services in duration of 18 months from the date of contract award. The official language for tenders is Italian. TERNA SpA has announced the invitation for tenders for subsea cable services in duration of 18 months from the date of contract award. The official language for tenders is Italian.

The scope of work will be comprised of supplying and laying of the submarine and terrestrial 150 kV HVAC “Capri – Torre Annunziata” cable link.

This includes the supply and installation of the optical fibre telecommunications systems and temperature measurement.

The work also includes the protection of marine cables and a ready intervention of failure (survey, research, detection and repair fault). Total length of the link is about 31 km.

The deadline for submission of tenders is 15 March 2012.
