Developers of the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm will hold a public consultation event in Albourne tomorrow, reports Mid Sussex Times.
Residents will get the chance to learn more about the proposed offshore wind farm located 13km off the Sussex coast, and discuss the proposals with the wind farm developer, E.ON.
The company is considering a range of 100 to 195 wind turbines with the generating capacity of between 3MW and 7MW for the Rampion offshore wind farm, which would have total installed electrical capacity of up to 700 megawatts (MW)
The event will be held at Albourne Village Hall, and the community consultation period for the project will last until May 6.
