Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller has nominated Henning Voscherau, Hamburg’s former mayor, to head the South Stream Board of Directors, Gazprom said in a statement.
“ We are confident that the great experience gained by Henning Voscherau in international regulatory organizations and his fine reputation will make a great contribution to successful and timely implementation of the South Stream project having strategic importance for Europe ,” said Alexey Miller.
Gazprom will nominate Voscherau as Chairman of South Stream Board at the first meeting of the Board to be held in April.
