Bluestream Diving B.V. has been awarded the 2012 IRM contract by GDF SUEZ E&P Nederland B.V.

The contract encompasses diving and ROV services for 27 production platforms and 5 subsea wells within the Dutch Continental shelf, a program entailing approx. 250 days per year.

Bluestream Diving B.V. will provide inspection services of the GDF Suez E&P offshore installations. These services vary from general visual surveys, to close visual surveys; surveys of marine growth, risers, conductors and caissons; CP-inspections, FMD, NDT-inspections (both MPI and eddy current), wall thickness measurements, scour surveys and debris surveys.

“The award of this contract marks another significant step for Bluestream Offshore”, announced Managing Director Rolf de Vries . “GDF SUEZ E&P Netherlands BV. is one of the largest operators in the Dutch sector and we are delighted to be working with them on the inspection, repair and maintenance of their assets. This contract perfectly reflects Bluestream’s focus and the company’s capabilities. All three of our disciplines – diving, ROV and rope access – will combine to inspect GDF SUEZ E&P’s offshore installations from seabed to topsides.”

There are various ways to monitor the condition of an offshore installation. Ultimately, the final report is key, as it provides the basis for trend analysis. Bluestream offers tailored services with a genuine commitment to continuous improvement. As well as aiming for the highest quality output, the company ensures that the most efficient inspection methods are used to reduce risk and critical vessel time.

All diving and ROV operations will be coordinated and executed from Den Helder, base-port of Bluestream Offshore and GDF SUEZ E&P Nederland BV.
