Multi Cat 1506, a Damen multi-purpose work vessel constructed for the dredging industry, has reportedly been loaded onboard the HR Intonation, an 11,872-deadweight-ton time charter from Belgian heavy-lift carrier OXL, at the Port of Zeebrugge.

The 15.5-meter SWCC-2 Multi Cat is designed for towing, pushing operations and assistance in marine civil works. She is powered by 2x Caterpillar 3406C TA / A main engines and features 2x Promarin fixed pitch propellers 1000 mm diameter. Her bollard pull is of 7.7 tons. The vessel has the capacity to develop the speed of 9.2 knots.

According to Damen Shipyard’s Jan-Hein Reeringh, the vessel is due to reach Jubail in early April.
