Mermaid announces that its wholly owned subsidiary Subtech Ltd. has opened a branch office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Subtech already has offices in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The purpose of the Branch Office is to continue the expansion of Mermaid’s footprint in the Middle East region by giving Subtech the position to bid directly for projects in the United Arab Emirates.

This will allow offshore oil and gas companies operating in the United Arab Emirates access to its growing and enviable track record of operational and technical excellence in the region.

“We are delighted with the opening of our latest Branch Office in Abu Dhabi which will give us presence in the United Arab Emirates to meet the demands and requirements of our clients in a more efficient and cost effective manner,” said Mr. Paul Whiley, Managing Director of Subtech.
