BAM Infraconsult bv, by its trade name Delta Marine Consultants, has signed a license agreement for the use of Xbloc on the new LNG Terminal in Dunkerque, France.
The license agreement has been signed with a joint venture of Sodraco International SAS (subsidiary of Jan de Nul), Bouygues Travaux Publics Régions France, Colas Nord Picardie and Menard.
Within the Dunkerque project, 3,000 Xblocs of 6 m3 will be applied. The units will be produced on the project site and production is expected to start in April. Unit placement is expected to commence in the second half of 2012. The Dunkerque project is the fourth LNG terminal for which Xbloc is applied to provide protection against the waves.
