Sigma Offshore, the international FPSO moorings and marine engineering services business, will be exhibiting at Asia’s 3rd Annual FPSO Summit in Singapore.

The event at the Raffles Convention Centre on April 24 & 25 (2012) is part of Singapore Maritime Week. As well as exhibiting, Aberdeen headquartered Sigma Offshore is one of the key sponsors of the event for industry leaders and decision-makers.

The conference features speakers, FPSO and field owner case studies, design and technology updates and networking opportunities.

Alistair Dornan, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sigma Offshore , said: “The event offers us the opportunity to highlight Sigma’s capabilities in the external and internal moorings sector as well as our marine engineering expertise.”

Sigma Offshore Vice-President Asia Pacific Eirik Refstie, who established the company’s office in Singapore in 2010, will be attending the conference along with Alistair Dornan.

As well as its mooring and riser solutions, Sigma Offshore – which also has offices in Houston and Oslo – delivers extended well testing systems, floating production export system solutions, subsea architecture design, deepwater subsea solutions, consultancy services and project management.

The company has developed the Smart Mooring System (SMS) concept, which comes in both a bow-mounted turret design that allows unlimited weathervaning in addition to the SMS Internal that is designed to facilitate large FPSO developments for the most severe weather conditions.
