World leading marine rental company, Ashtead Technology – Offshore Division, announces an exclusive agreement with The Oceanscience Group, to offer the UnderwayCTD and UnderwaySV systems for the rental market.
For the first time, the revolutionary profiler is available for short or long term hire with systems supplied out of Ashtead Technology’s three regional bases – Houston, Aberdeen, and Singapore. This agreement is exclusive within the Oil and Gas industry.
The UnderwayCTD/SV is a free fall profiling system that offers research quality conductivity, temperature, depth (CTD) or sound velocity (SV) profiles from a vessel moving at up to 14kts. Profiles over 1000m are achievable at 4-5kts and with a turnaround time of only about 30 minutes for a full depth cast, there is no faster way to gather affordable and high quality data.
