International Fairs and Promotions (IFP) Group announced the launch of the eighth edition of the Beirut Boat Show 2012 during a press conference held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at the Royal Hotel-Dbayeh, in the presence of media representatives, maritime industry representatives in Lebanon and the Middle East, and a number of diplomats and businessmen.

Mr. Albert Aoun, President of the Board and General Director of IFP , opened the conference with a welcoming address in which he presented an overview of the boat show in light of the current situation of the maritime industry in the region, and the potential that characterizes Lebanon at this level.
