As part of continual company growth and development, Coastline Surveys Ltd has placed an order for the purchase of a DATEM 5000 CPT system.

The DATEM 5000 unit is a coiled rod design offering the latest technology and increased push capability compared to similar CPT designs available. The unit is compact enough for deployment from smaller vessels making it a versatile and adaptable system for most soil types.

Managing Director David Hitchcock says “Having undertaken a number of CPT site investigation contracts using 3rd party equipment, purchasing this new system will provide us with increased capabilities for both the UK and International markets. The Datem 5000 system fits well with deployment from our coastal survey vessel MV FlatHolm in the infield and export cable route markets of renewables and wider cable route surveys. The deepwater capabilities in a robust compact frame will further open new market sectors to Coastline”

Coastline Surveys will be at Seawork International 2012 on stand A23.
