AGR has been awarded a frame agreement with RWE Dea to provide reservoir services.

As a result of recent exploration successes, E&P firm RWE Dea is looking to AGR’s Reservoir Management for the provision of subsurface services during exploration, interpretation, early field development and increased recovery from existing assets.

As an international oil and gas services company, with headquarters in Oslo, AGR is ideally placed to provide them with the necessary regional experience and in-depth knowledge of the Norwegian Continental Shelf required in this instance.

Sjur Talstad, AGR’s Executive Vice President , said: “This agreement signifies once again that we are providing our clients with real value because our understanding goes that bit deeper – not only do we supply the expertise in the complex area of reservoir management but we also have the regional experience needed for implementing these projects. Our Reservoir Management team has more than 15 years’ experience of this region, from the North Sea, Norwegian Sea up to the Barents Sea.”

Over the past 5 years, AGR has completed over 1,000 reservoir studies. These have a global coverage in all major basins and reservoir types, including challenging environments such as HPHT, gas condensate, heavy oil reservoirs and complex fractured reservoirs.
