In addition to the successfull realization of its cable hang-off system, Vos Prodect Innovations is looking for additional features to satisfy the new requirements of the offshore wind farm projects.

Project developers are setting additional firm requirements that have to be met and relevant systems have to be qualified with product tests. The latest requirement from its clients is sealed cable hang-off systems for their specific projects.

Providing a cost efficient and proven sealed system will have an enormous cost saving effect against corrosion troubles inside the cable deck.

By realizing the importance of sealed cable hang-off systems, Vos Prodect Innovations has executed a concept test, which is successfully completed. The concept has been tested with a defined pressure, applied to the test setup over a period of 4 days.

The outcome of the concept testing is promising and the data collected from the test is within “water tight” leakage rate classifications. This concept test is a crucial step towards the sealed cable hang-off systems and can be implemented to any offshore wind farm project regardless of the cable type.
