MPM has been awarded the contract for subsea wetgas meters for the Åsgard Subsea Compression by Aker Solutions.

The meters will be installed upstream each compressor train, as part of Aker Solution’s retrievable cooler module.

The Åsgard field lies in 250 – 300 m water depth in the Norwegian Sea, about 200 kilometers off mid-Norway and 50 kilometers south of Heidrun. The Åsgard B platform receives gas production from the Midgard and Mikkel reservoirs, which are connected through a subsea flowline system.
