The RESON Group is offering existing SEABAT 7125 SV2 customers the opportunity to upgrade their systems with RESONs Feature Pack 3, (FP3) totally, free of charge.
Feature Pack 3 has taken all the benefits of FP2 and added two new features, TRACKER and SEABAT UI, to provide users with increased efficiency in a wide range of survey operations.
TRACKER is a totally automated mode of operation, where the system sets all parameters, differing from the existing autopilot which is based on a lookup table. TRACKER is initiated from the user interface and once selected no other operator input is required.
SEABAT UI is a completely redesigned graphical user interface (GUI), which runs on Windows 7 64-bit to provide the optimum in processing power and brings a fresh new feel to the user without losing the critical information the operator needs to control the system.

Recent Sea Trials of the FP3 were conducted in the Huememe Canyon from the Channel islands harbor near Ventura, some 50 miles north of Los Angeles, California, where water depth varied from around 5m to in excess of 150m.
