WGP Exploration announces two contract awards with TGS-Nopec for the provision of marine gravity equipment for their on-going multi-client projects in the North Sea.

The projects, which commenced in late May, have an anticipated duration of six weeks and two months respectively.

Complimenting marine seismic data with magnetic and gravity acquisition is of great benefit to clients operating in new areas of exploration as well as those who wish to increase their opportunity for data sales. WGP has been successfully operating magnetic and gravity services to a high portfolio of clients including CGG Veritas and PGS worldwide.

WGP has over 10 years’ experience operating the industry approved and recognised SeaSpy Magnetometer and Chekan-AM Gravity Meter. These systems are supplied with WGP’s complete Project Management services from mobilisation, operations through to data processing.
