On Thursday June 14th, LEEVAC Shipyards, LLC held a dedication and Christening of its two drydocks at it’s Lake Charles location.

Leevac Shipyards launched its two drydocks earlier in May. They will support construction and repair activities at the company’s 180-acre site here on the west bank of the Mermentau River.

LEEVAC Shipyards Jennings, LLC is a Gulf Coast shipyard in south Louisiana and is situated on a180-acre site on the west bank of the Mermentau River, about five miles east of Jennings, Louisiana. The shipyard, located just off of old Highway 90, is easily accessible by truck, barge and rail. At LEEVAC the river is 350 feet wide and 60 feet deep.
