ZF Wind Power, ZF Services, and ZF Test Systems will take part in HUSUM WindEnergy 2012, the leading wind energy trade fair, at the Nordsee Congress Center in Husum from the 18 to 22 September, in Hall 4, at stand 4C04 and 4D05.

ZF Wind Power, the new business unit of the ZF Friedrichshafen AG, develops and produces wind turbine gearboxes which meet today’s requirements and those of the future.

With the merger of ZF and the former Hansen Transmissions ZF combines the manufacturing excellence of one of the world’s leading automotive industry suppliers with the expertise of a global leader in wind turbine gearboxes. The designated expertise enables ZF to supply major manufacturers of gear driven wind turbines with gearboxes ranging from 1.5 to 6.15 MW power capacity.

The new business unit ZF Wind Power belongs to the Top 3 global gearbox suppliers for wind turbines with production facilities in Europe, USA, China and India.

ZF Wind Power is embedded in a dense network of fast and global service solutions from ZF for wind power applications and can back up on the expertise of the independent business unit ZF Test Systems which develops and produces test rigs for wind power gearboxes.

The test rigs are offered as turnkey whole facilities with CE-marking and thus obviating any safety risks and customer’s need for expensive interfaces.
