On June 22nd 2012, the launching ceremony of the third vessel, in a series of multipurpose salvage vessels, SPASATEL ZABORSHCHIKOV yard number 703, capacity 4 МW, project MPSV07 took place at Nevsky Shipyard slipway.
The construction of the vessels of the series is carried out in accordance with the State Shipbuilding Contracts for the Federal Marine and River Transport Agency and for the Direction of State Contractor of Marine Transport Development Program.
The representatives of Customer, Russian Maritime Registry of Shipping, mass media, the Management and employees of the Shipyard participated in the ceremony devoted to this event. Mikhail Zaborshchikov, the person after whom the vessel is named, was the most honorable guest of the ceremony.
The project is developed by “Marine Engineering Bureau-Design-SPb”, JSC.

As soon as the construction the vessels is completed, the vessels will be delivered to «State Marine Pollution Control and Salvage and Rescue Service of RF» (Gosmorspassluzhba) and will be included into the state rescue fleet capable to perform underwater-technical, diving and rescue works.
Mikhail Zaborshchikov is the most honorable and respected person at Baltic unit as well as at all Marine Rescue Service of Russia. In 1944 seventeen-year-old boy was called to Emergency Rescue Service of North fleet. He was mastering the basic of sea rescue work and became a diver. After demobilization he continued to work as diver. In 1959 Mikhail Zaborshchikov started to work in Expedition Group of Salvage, Ship-raising and Underwater Technical Works of Baltic Shipping Company (at present Baltic BASU), where he had been worked until 1997. At present he is in retirement.
