Statoil Petroleum AS has received consent from the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway to remove the SPM-C loading buoy on the Statfjord field. The loading buoy on Statfjord C is located in the North Sea in block 33/9. Water depth at the site is 145.7 metres. The activity is scheduled to start in July

Statfjord is an oil field located on both sides of the demarcation line between the Norwegian and UK continental shelves in the Tampen area.
