Ezra Holdings Limited announced the appointment of a Singapore corporate veteran Mr Eng Heng Nee Philip to its Board of directors. Mr Eng will take up his appointment as Ezra’s Non-Executive/ Independent Director with effect from 1 July 2012.
Mr Eng has more than 40 years of corporate experience in various sectors, in particular, distribution and retail, and properties. He spent 23 years with the Jardine Cycle & Carriage Group before retiring in February 2005 as Group Managing Director.
Mr Eng is the Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Frasers Centrepoint Asset Management Ltd and mDR Limited, and a Director in Hup Soon Global Corporation Limited, in addition to serving on the Boards of various public and private companies in Singapore. He is also Singapore’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Greece and High Commissioner to Cyprus.
Mr Lionel Lee, Ezra’s Managing Director , said: “With his years of extensive corporate experience and leadership, Mr Eng’s presence on our Board will add to investors’ confidence and strengthen our corporate governance.
