On June 25 2012, No. 1 51.000 DWT Bulk Carrier, built for a domestic owner by Sanfu shipyard, was successfully launched into the water.
The ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Yang Yifeng, President of Sanfu shipyard, Mr. Liu Feixiang ,General Manager of Marketing of Sanfu shipyard together with owner representatives and class surveyors.
This is the first one of a series of seven sister vessels and also the second PSPC compliant vessel ever being built in Sanfu shipyard. She is 199.95m in LOA, 195m in LPP, 32.26m in molded breath and 16.5m in molded depth. Her design draft is 10.5m. Her scantling draft is 10.8m.
The vessel can reach speeds up to 12.9 knots and is classed in CCS.
