Global Offshore Services Buys AHTSV (The Netherlands)

Global Offshore Services Ltd has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that its Dutch subsidiary Global Offshore Services B. V. has acquired an Anchor Handling Tug cum Supply Vessel (AHTSV). Global Offshore Services Ltd has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that its Dutch subsidiary Global Offshore Services B. V. has acquired an Anchor Handling Tug cum Supply Vessel (AHTSV).

The vessel is a 60 Ton AHTSV built in August, 2009, having FIFI 1 and DP1 capabilities.

The company did not reveal financial terms of the acquisition.

Also, the company, based in Mumbai, India, recently informed that it had sold its its Platform Supply vessel, M.V. ‘Makalu’. The PSV, of DP2 UT 755LN design, was delivered to Global Offshore Services by Havyard in 2009.
