Norway: STX OSV Inks PSV Contract with Troms Offshore Supply

STX OSV Holdings Limited announces that it has now entered into a contract with Troms Offshore Supply for the design and construction of the Platform Supply Vessel (PSV).

The vessel, of STX OSV’s own PSV 07 design, is scheduled for delivery in 1Q 2014 from STX OSV in Norway. The hull will be delivered from STX OSV in Romania.

PSV 07 is a new innovative design developed by STX OSV. The vessel will be a Clean Class environmentally friendly diesel electric ship with focus on low fuel consumption and low emission of greenhouse gases. The vessel is 94.5 meters long and 21 meters wide with a free deck space of 1,170 m2. With a deadweight of 5,700 tons, this ship will be one of the largest PSVs in the market.
