Grandweld Shipyards has celebrated the keel laying of the two new 33.5m Aluminum Crew Boats for Fujairah National Group (FNG) on 12th July 2012.
The keel laying ceremony was attended by FNG representatives HE.Sheik Ahmad (Son of Fujairah Ruler), Mr. Saif Al Salami, Mr. Sami Al-Baghdadi, Mr. Sanjeev Sarin, and representatives from Bureau Veritas. The vessels are designed as a triple screw, high speed offshore crew boats operating in an offshore limit with a seating capacity for 50 offshore personnel.
The vessels are designed to have a speed reaching in excess of 25 knots in light ship condition.
