Sealing its position as a leading supplier of specialist offshore engineering solutions, Aquaterra Energy has opened a new office in the heart of the UK Oil and Gas industry, Aberdeen. Located on Albyn Terrace in Aberdeen’s West End, the Aquaterra Energy Aberdeen team comprises specialist Analysts and Structural Engineers and will focus initially on providing Riser Analysis expertise for the local market, as well as Aquaterra Energy’s wider range of products and services.

Bringing over two decades of industry experience to Aquaterra Energy, Eric Doyle, has been appointed general manager for the company in Aberdeen , and is responsible for the strategy to drive the business, which will focus on quality, delivery and after sales service.

Doyle said: “In Aberdeen we have the expertise to provide high value engineering and technical support at a local level. This is backed up by the infrastructure and long-term established engineering team in Norwich and Cambridge.

“At Aquaterra Energy Aberdeen, we have a strong portfolio of existing clients, which we will continue to build on in the future. Customer service is our absolute priority in the short and long-term, ensuring that we deliver premium quality engineering solutions, with complete reliability.”

Before joining Aquaterra Energy, Doyle’s career in the Oil and Gas and Renewable Energy industries included roles in Offshore Engineering, HSEQ, and Business Development and most recently as VP Sales and Marketing for AGR Field Operations and Managing Director of AGR Integrity UK. His career has spanned many aspects of the industry from Offshore Drilling to Subsea Construction/Engineering and IMR through Consultancy into Asset Integrity.
