Iran and Kuwait Cooperate on Development of Arash Field

Iranian Offshore Oil Company managing director announced that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to cooperate with Kuwait, to jointly develop Arash field. Iranian Offshore Oil Company managing director announced that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to cooperate with Kuwait, to jointly develop Arash field.

Mahmoud Zirkchiyanzadeh said: “ Iran emphasize on its positive diplomacy for development of Arash field and is ready to cooperate with Kuwait.

He added: “Offshore Oil Company perform activities in the Arash field under authority of related organs, particularly the Foreign Ministry and the Iranian ambassador in Kuwait”.

He stated that in the negotiations the two side emphasis on positive diplomacy and Iran stressed the cooperative relations against competitive alternative.

According to Zirkchiyanzadeh Iran and Kuwait can reduce costs by specifying a common operator for investment, development, and production in this field.

He added: It is common way to maximize recovery with minimal investment and spent money and it would provide benefits to both countries.

Offshore Oil Company managing director explained about the Islamic Republic of Iran readiness to export gas to Kuwait as Kuwait needs gas which prices would be around regional standards.

He emphasized: “Iran is ready to cooperate with Kuwait in this field to increase the maximum shared national interests and deepening bilateral relations, regional, social and political relationship between the two Muslim countries.”
