Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF), a Norway-based shipping company focused primarily on offshore oil & gas industry, has been awarded a contract with a large oil company for the 5500 bhp AHTS «Nor Tigerfish» .

The unnamed oil company has chartered the vessel, of Kiam Chian design, on a 1-year firm contract with 2×3 months options.

The contract for the AHTS built in 2007, will start during August. Total value for the firm contract is approximately USD 9,5 million.
