Organized by UBM Conferences and supported by SSNAOE, Offshore Engineering China Conference 2012 will take place on 25-26 September at Renaissance Shanghai Putuo Hotel, bringing together major NOCs and IOCs, marine contractors, design institutes, marine equipment manufacturers, etc. to discuss cutting-edge issues in international and domestic subsea engineering, offshore platforms and the latest case studies on FPSO.

High-level Content

– Dr. Peter Huang from Subsea Engineering will chair the conference, and discuss the issue of subsea development after oil spills and the challenges and opportunities of subsea production systems.

– Muthu Chezhian, director of engineering from Wison Offshore & Marine will share details about Wison’s latest low Capex FSRU contract for SE Asia; Michael Timmcke, engineering & optimization manager of ConocoPhillips will talk about Belanak FPSO — 5 years of successful operation and its application to floating LNG; Ketil Hox from Teekay Petrojarl will share his latest case study on FPSO.

– Senior technical consultant, Dr. James Zhang from Offshore Emergency & HSE Section of CNOOC will analyze diagnosis techniques reducing the environmental risk level of offshore installations; Miss. Li Qingping from CNOOC will give a brief talk about national subsea engineering; Mr. Chris Faulkner from Breitling Oil and Gas will give a speech on the latest methods to improve oil-gas recovery rations; Mr. He Changhai from CIMC Raffles will discuss semisubmersible drilling platform case studies.

– Besides the above, this conference will also cover the hot topics of offshore equipment financing strategies and offshore exploration methods.
