In response to increasing market demand for feeder space, Evergreen Line will commence the new Straits-Yangon (Myanmar) service (referred to as SYS) from late August.

Evergreen will exchange space with Advance Container Lines (ACL) in its Yangon routes to increase the frequency of feeder connections.

Evergreen Line will deploy the 1,164 TEU Ever Able to the SYS route. The first sailing is scheduled to depart from Singapore on 21st August, which serves the rotation of Singapore – Yangon – Port Klang- Singapore in about 11-12 days transit time.

Evergreen will also conduct slot exchange with ACL on its Yangon routes (YGS), cruising a round voyage of about 10-12 days. The port rotations are as follows:

YGS1: Singapore-Yangon-Port Klang-Singapore. YGS2: Singapore-Yangon-Singapore.

According to Evergreen Line, Myanmar has the advantage of reasonably priced labor and is endowed with abundant natural resources. In addition, recent political and economic reforms have attracted significant amounts of foreign investment to the country, enhancing its potential for long-term economic growth. Evergreen will continue to monitor market development trends and remains committed to meet customer demand with quality service.
